Sellers are responsible for making online payments through a valid credit card for various Insertion Fees when listing equipment items in an auction and for Final Value Fees upon the successful sale of coffee lots and equipment at the completion of an auction. In addition, buyers of coffee lots are charged for shipping & handling when ording coffee samples and, if they are the winning bidder, for the international freight from the country of origin at the close of the auction.
Credit card authentication and processing is protected using secure transaction technologies, including SSL secure sockets layer encryption.

Users will only be visible on the website by their individual User ID, and only in an auction-related activity. Users of the website are responsible for all transactions conducted under the User ID and/or Password. If you suspect your id or password is not secure, it is your responsibility to change it immediately. Occasionally, SCA may contact a user to verify an authorization of a registered seller or bidder. In addition, registered users of this website may contact SCA, from time to time, to verify another user's registration status. Even so, no information will be released for that purpose except whether or not the user's registration is current and valid.
Bidding on high-value lots may require additional verification procedures to be determined by SCA or communicated to SCA by the Seller. In addition, private auctions held on behalf of any organization may require additional authorization to participate in the auction as deemed necessary or desired by the sponsoring organization.
To protect the website from fraud or any other illegal activity, all users authorize SCA to make available to law enforcement authorities, either domestic or international, personal transaction information of Sellers and Bidders without a subpoena.
Website traffic analysis: the website uses the services of Google Analytics to analyze traffic to this website. Google Analytics does not create individual profiles of visitors. SCA will only collect aggregate data through this service and never allow use for any other purpose other than to improve the functionality of the website in order to better serve SCA customers.
