What does it cost to register as a user?
No, there is never a charge to register as a Member on SpecialtyCoffeeAuctions.com. Registration provides you with Member privileges to bid, buy and order samples on coffee auction items and list equipment & supplies items for sale.
Do I need special approval to register to sell green coffee?
Yes. For the most part, green coffee sellers are companies or organizations (growers, cooperatives, etc.) located in coffee growing countries who require special consideration and a one on one relationship with the management of SpecialtyCoffeeAuctions.com. Each country has its own unique characteristics of doing business, ports of discharge must be identified, samples coordinated and transport arranged.
How do I change my User ID and Password?
Your User ID is a number that is automatically assigned to you at the time of registration. This number cannot be changed. To change your password, you must login and go to your Member Page. You can access this page by clicking on the "My Account" link at the top right of any page. Next, select "View/edit your personal information" and you will be take to a form where you can create a new password. If at anytime you forget your Password, you can go to the Password Finder to retrieve your Password.
What do I do if I registered but never received an email with my User ID and Password?
Your "registration email" is sent immediately after you submit the registration form online and should show up within minutes. However, if after 15 minutes or so you do not receive your registration information, you should:
Go to the Help menu and select the "Find Your Password" option. Enter your User ID or Nickname and your account Keyword and your User ID and Password will be re-sent to the email address you entered when filling out the registration form. If this doesn't work, the chances are good that you misspelled your email address when you registered. In this case, please register again. Make sure to check the spelling of your email address prior to submitting the form.

How do I ensure that my account is protected?
First, always logout after every user session. If you need to keep a written copy of your User ID and Password, be sure to keep them in a safe place. Also, follow our recommended guidelines regarding your password.
